JKBOSE Declares Class 10th Bi-annual/Private 2024 Results
Srinagar, 12 Nov: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released the results for the Class 10th Bi-annual/Private Examination 2024. The results can be accessed on the official JKBOSE website at jkbose.nic.in/results/jkbose.
A total of 50,935 students were enrolled for the examination. Out of these, 17,669 students passed, while 33,226 students did not qualify. The overall pass percentage for the examination is 34.69%.
In the subject-wise results, English (EN) saw 38,728 students appearing, with a pass percentage of 34.36%. Mathematics (MA) had 32,745 students with a pass percentage of 39.60%. Hindi (HI) and Urdu (UR) recorded higher pass rates of 50.90% and 56.50%, respectively. Science (SC) and Social Studies (SS) had pass percentages of 46.38% and 45.40%.
For additional/optional subjects, Arabic (AR) and Kashmir (KS) had a 50% pass rate. Agriculture (AG) had a 23% pass rate, while Beauty and Wellness (BE) saw just 11% of students pass. Other subjects like Physical Education (PE), IT and ITES (IT), and Retail (RE) had pass percentages ranging from 10% to 40%.
In terms of disciplinary actions, 15 students had disputed eligibility, and 1 student was caught using unfair means. Additionally, 8 exams were cancelled, and 14 students were disqualified for one year.
Students who wish to apply for the next examination must submit their applications along with the prescribed fees within 15 days from the result declaration. The Permission-cum-Admission form should include a photograph and an eligibility certificate.
