DSEK Announce New School Timing for Kashmir Division
Srinagar Schools to Operate from 9 AM to 3 PM, Other Areas from 10 AM to 4 PM
Srinagar, August 10: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has issued a new schedule for school timings across the Kashmir division, effective August 12.
Under the revised timings, schools within the Srinagar Municipal limits will hold classes from 9 AM to 3 PM. Meanwhile, educational institutions located outside these municipal boundaries, including those in other parts of the Kashmir Province, will follow a schedule from 10 AM to 4 PM.
This adjustment affects both government and recognized private schools throughout the region. The decision aims to streamline school operations and better accommodate the needs of students and staff.
The new schedule will be implemented in response to various logistical considerations and feedback from local educational authorities. The DSEK has emphasized that this change is intended to enhance the overall educational environment and ensure a more effective learning experience for students.
