JKSSB Releases Written Test Results for Supervisor Post in Social Welfare Department
Jammu and Kashmir, October 3, 2024: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced the results of the written test for the Supervisor position in the Social Welfare Department. The exam, conducted for the District Cadre post, was advertised under Notification No. 02 of 2023 and held on June 23, 2024.
Exam Details and Selection Process
The written test was based on an objective-type multiple-choice format, with a total of 95 marks allocated for the exam. An additional 5 marks were reserved for candidates who have studied Home Science, Child Development, or Sociology. The results, including the score sheet (marks out of 120), were officially released under notice number JKSSB/COE/1/2024-06 (7480543) on July 9, 2024.
Provisional Results and Document Verification
The result includes a provisional score sheet, which lists the candidates shortlisted for document verification. These candidates must submit their relevant documents, including year-wise or semester-wise mark sheets and degree certificates, to finalize their selection. The award of the additional 5 marks is provisional and will only be confirmed after proper verification.

Candidates who do not provide the necessary documentation to support their claims for these extra marks will have their merit recalculated with a 5-mark deduction. The JKSSB will notify the schedule for document verification separately, and only candidates falling within the merit-based consideration zone will be called for this stage.
Final Selection Criteria
It’s important to note that appearing in the result or score sheet does not guarantee final selection. Candidates must fulfill all eligibility criteria, including document submission, to secure their position on the final selection list. The decision of the JKSSB regarding the verification process will be final.
