J&K Govt Orders Major Transfers for J&K Police DSPs, Check List

Srinagar, August 13, 2024 — The General Administration Department (Vigilance) of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir has announced significant changes in the postings and transfers of Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) within the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).

In accordance with Government Order No. 1497-JK(GAD) of 2024, several DSPs currently stationed at the ACB are being repatriated to the Home Department for further assignment. This includes Shiv Kumar, Rameez Raja, Sheikh Mudasir, Deedar Singh, Devinder Singh, Pawan Kumar, and Mohmad Shafiq Najar.

These officers will be reassigned to different roles within the Home Department, reflecting a strategic shift in their responsibilities.

In addition to the repatriations, a number of DSPs are being transferred to new postings. Raj Kumar Sharma, currently in the Armed Zone, and Surenjeet Singh from the Crime Branch Jammu will assume new roles as part of this administrative reshuffle. Shamsher Singh and Pradeep Sharma, previously posted in TRFC, Doda-Ktr., and the Armed Zone respectively, will also be moving to different positions. Mansha Beg, previously serving as Dy.SP in the Women Battalion, Mohammad Saleem Bhat from the PC Magam in Handwara, and Dr. Hilal Ahmad Mehraj Din Raina from the Dy.SP roles in Sopore and SIU Shopian will each be transitioned to new assignments.

Additionally, Fayaz Ahmad Dar and Mohsina Sibtain, currently holding positions in PTWS Kashmir and Security Kashmir respectively, will be posted elsewhere.

These changes are part of the government’s efforts to enhance administrative efficiency and effectiveness within the Anti-Corruption Bureau. The reassignments and transfers are expected to contribute to better management and oversight within the bureau.
