JKSSB Announces Document Verification for Supervisor Candidates in Social Welfare Department
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued a notification regarding the document verification process for candidates eligible for the Supervisor positions within the Social Welfare Department.
This announcement follows the release of updated results and score sheets under Notification No. JKSSB/COE/1/2024-06 (7480543)/Rev, dated October 3, 2024. The results pertain to the OMR-based written examination conducted on June 23, 2024, for the posts listed in Advertisement Notification No. 02 of 2023, covering Item Nos. 08 to 26.
To ensure all vacancies are filled, candidates identified in Annexure “A” of the notification are required to appear in person before the designated Document Verification Committees. This step is crucial for the verification and scrutiny of their documents and certificates according to the provided schedule and locations.
Candidates must present a set of original documents along with self-attested copies during the verification process. Required documents include the online application form, two recent passport-sized color photographs, and a valid photo ID, such as an Aadhar card, Voter ID, PAN card, or Passport. Additionally, a Date of Birth certificate (10th class marks card), domicile certificate, and 10+2 marks sheet or diploma are necessary.
Furthermore, candidates must submit their graduation degree from a recognized university. Those seeking the allotment of five additional marks need to bring their degree and all associated mark sheets. A bonafide certificate, in the prescribed format for candidates who obtained qualifications outside the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, is also required. Additionally, a checklist form and a submission of preferences for various items and districts must be provided.
Candidates who fail to attend the scheduled document verification sessions will forfeit their eligibility for selection. It is important to note that the provisional allotment of five additional marks based on claims made through online or offline submissions does not guarantee preferential treatment in the selection process.
The final allocation will be contingent upon the verification of essential documents, mark sheets, and degree certificates by the Document Verification Committees.
