JKBOSE Issues Notification for Students Allegedly Involved in Exam Misconduct
Srinagar, October 22, 2024 – The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE), New Campus Bemina, Srinagar, has issued a notification for students accused of resorting to unfair means or misconduct during the Higher Secondary Examination Part-II (Class 12) and Secondary School Examination (Class 10) for the session Annual/Private Bi-Annual 2024.
The board has provided an opportunity for these students to appear before the Unfair Means (UFM) Committee for a hearing.
The concerned students, whose roll numbers are mentioned in the notification, are required to present themselves along with their admit cards before the UFM Committee on October 24-25, 2024, at 10:30 AM in the office chamber of the Joint Secretary Secrecy/UFM, Kashmir Division, New Campus, Bemina, Srinagar.
Failure to appear on the scheduled dates will result in decisions being made based on available records and evidence, with no further claims entertained. Students from both Class 12 and Class 10 have been notified to attend the scrutiny of their cases.
The detailed roll numbers for Class 12 students are listed, including those from various schools across the Kashmir Division. Similarly, the roll numbers for Class 10 students are divided into two phases—Phase I on October 24, 2024, and Phase II on October 25, 2024.
The notification, signed by the Assistant Secretary of Unfair Means (KO), has been circulated to relevant JKBOSE officials and will also be published in local newspapers for wider reach.
The students are advised to take this notice seriously and ensure their timely presence to avoid any further complications.
